Product Offerings

Katerra offers 11 different layup configurations to give our customers design flexibility to meet their specific needs.

Katerra offers three, five, seven, and nine-ply layups with various thicknesses reaching up to 12.4 inches. In plan dimension, Katerra presses 10 ft. or 12 ft. nominal by 60 ft. long master panels on each press cycle. Each master panel is subdivided into individual panel elements by a CNC machine to meet project-specific needs.

Floor/Roof Panel

  • Base Panel: 60’ span X 10’ or 12’ wide
  • Panels are CNC detailed and optimized for shipping and assembly on site

Panel Options

  • 3-, 5-, 7-, 9-ply panels
  • Industrial & Architectural Appearance grades
  • Multiple wood species or combination options

Ribbed Panel

  • 3-, 5-ply
  • 30’ span X 10’ wide tested solution
  • Glulam ribs are connected to CLT using adhesive and screws to form a “timber-timber” composite section

Glulam

Katerra partners with select glulam manufacturers to supply our customers with fully fabricated timber solutions.

Manufacturing Capabilities

Katerra’s Spokane Valley manufacturing facility occupies 29 acres in eastern Washington state. The 270,000 sq. ft. facility features one of the largest CLT presses currently in operation globally, as well as easy access to rail lines and interstate highways for ease of transport options.
