Katerra was founded on the insight that applying systems approaches to building development, design, and construction would remove unnecessary time and costs and a vision of a future where efficiency wouldn't have to come at the expense of quality or sustainability.

Shanghai Dangoo Electronics, Ltd specializes in lighting design and integrated LED technology, the merger enhances Katerra's ability to develop and bring to market new and innovative lighting products at scale.

First Project Breaks Ground
Katerra breaks ground on our first construction project, Annadel II, providing materials and general contracting for the 120-unit, garden style apartment development. The property was design by BAR Architects is slated to be complete in early 2018.

Phoenix Factory Begins Production
The Phoenix Factory comes online and produces wall assemblies for Pine Valley Ranch II in early 2017, by April the factory is fully functional.
